Hand stiffness? Take this serious

Hand stiffness should always be taken seriously, this is true for those who do and do not have diabetes, hands which are stiff are almost always related to either cartilage (bone) deterioration or inflammation of the joints. The condition is affecting more people under the age of 35. The hands are very susceptible to problems which are related to consistent high blood sugar, it is crucial to address any complications to the upper limbs immediately in order to avoid further deterioration. Hand stiffness almost always progresses to more painful conditions, this should be addressed immediately.

We will first address how stiff hands are related to high blood sugar. Diabetes is the most damaging condition affecting the health of people today; there are literally over 28 million people in the United States who are affected by excessive blood glucose (sugars). More than 80 million people in the USA are pre diabetic. Pre diabetic can mean losing the normal functioning of their pancreas to make insulin, or cell becoming resistant to insulin. One of the consequences of high blood sugar is carpal tunnel syndrome, this is a condition characterized by a loss of bone cartilage in the hands, it can be extremely painful, and this often causes hand stiffness.

Researchers are showing the link between high blood sugar and stiff hands, a study from Taiwan which was published in PLOS Medical Journal revealed that women with type 2 diabetes are at greater risk for inflammation (rheumatoid arthritis) swelling in the hands.

Non-diabetics are suffering as well

The increase in people without diabetes who are complaining of stiff hands, can be related to Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis. Cartilage is the firm, rubbery tissue that cushions your bones at the joints. Cartililage allows bones to glide over one another. When the cartilage wears away, the bones rub together, this causes the pain, swelling, and hand stiffness of Osteoarthrtis.

A common sign of Osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis are stiff hands in the morning or late at night. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic progressive disease causing inflammation in the joints and resulting in painful deformity and immobility in the hands.  In additon, carpal tunnel syndrome is characteristed by excessive pressure on the nerve which causes can cause a painful stiff hand,  according to the CDC this is inceasing among people under 35.

Diabetics are increased risk for upper limb amputations, thousands of people with high blood sugar each year lose a finger or hand to amputation. High blood sugar causes nerve damage and artery blockage.

3 conditons which stiffen hands

Rhematoid arthritis  (Inflammation)

Osteoarthritis (Cartilage loss)

Carpal tunnel syndrome (excessive nerve pressure)

Hand stiffness should be taken very seriously, the condtion does not simply go away on its own.

There is some good news, there is a diet from Europe which was created for diabetic foot stiffness (and pain) . The diet is reported to stop stiff, painful hands and feet in those with or without diabetes. It is now used in over 10 countries to naturally stop hand stiffness. It is crucial to address the nerve damage from high blood sugar as early as possible to avoid permanent damage.

THE FULL REVERSE TYPE 2 DIABETES DIET WHICH IS USED IN OVER 17 COUNTRIES IS NOW INCLUDED FREE WITH THE DIABETIC HAND/FOOT STIFFNESS DIET.
